In 2010 Matty Conrad opened Victory Barber & Brand to much fanfare and an avalanche of international press (noted by several publications as one of the top barbershops in the world). The distinctly masculine environment focused on the heritage of Barbering with a nod to the 1940's industrial era and a strong desire to connect with generations of men that sat proudly in the barbers chair. Classic haircuts and hot shaves were the focus during a time when metrosexuality had taken main stage in the salon.

Victory Barber and Brand has inspired countless other shops around the globe and played a critical role in changing the direction of men's grooming along side  contemporary shops  such as Schorem Barbier Rotterdam, Hawleywoods Los Angeles, Baxter Finley Los Angeles, Savils Uk, and FSC NYC.
